Where footings are at risk of freezing, frost wall insulation protects the structure by keeping frost from penetrating the foundation walls.
We use rigid foam board insulation. It stops frost from reaching the foundation and adds real thermal insulation, which keeps the home warmer and cuts heat lost through the walls.
A properly insulated frost wall lowers heating costs and helps the foundation last, which saves on costly repairs down the road.
